Save yourself the frustration here. I worked with Erin after my first pregnancy a couple years ago. And while I appreciated her help and our time together, it was a bit of a frustrating experience. Initially had to hunt her down to first make contact but many moms told me that was normal for her, but it was worth it.. so I did. I bought a package based off her website pricing, then once she sent me the invoice after sessions with her from it, it was hundreds more. She said she had forgot to update her site, gave me a discount but didn’t match the package price I thought I bought. Ok fine, I was understanding. Over the next months with her, each time I contacted her to book, I’d have to contact her and follow up again as I’d get no response, it felt very unprofessional but I still was understanding and let it go, never complained about it. We had pleasant conversations whenever I saw her, we felt like friends, and I really appreciated her helping me put my body back together. Fast forward to my most recent pregnancy. I sadly lost my daughter at 40 weeks pregnant. I contacted her because I was ready to start healing my body with her. She didn’t respond. But this was very normal for an interaction with her, so I followed up a week later letting her know I had lost my daughter and really needed her help to heal my body again, she responded immediately with kindness and ready to help, which I was glad about. We chatted back and forth for a while, then she asked me about my surgery, and I told her the intimate details of it. That was 3 months ago, and she has still not responded. Incredibly unprofessional but also lacking so much heart. There is no scenario where I as a person on the street could treat a stranger that way, much less a client who I worked with for months. I was never rude to her, always calm during our appointments. We seemed to have a very friendly relationship. I just attributed the difficulty in making appointments to her being too busy or a person who has a hard time keeping up with the admin side of the business. A mom friend who had worked with her says she is just this way, but to me, that’s still not an excuse. It seems she just does not care. So save yourself the frustration and find someone who cares about clients. I have luckily found someone else who works postpartum Pilates and has never made me wait for even 10 minutes for a response and constantly checks on me. It makes such a difference when people show they care about their clients. I really wish things had went differently with Erin.

Apr 07, 2025 · Jahma CostelloThank you Erin DeLucia Benson. Your calm and focused practice at EDB Method Pilates helped me reclaim my postnatal body :) Early postpartum fitness was very important to me and she guided me through returning to fitness safely. Erin helped me refocus my core and pelvic floor muscles using her sub specialized pilates techniques. Highly recommend her practice to any postpartum woman. My only regret is not starting to train with her prenatally to maximize the process!
Mar 12, 2024 · Anna SteveErin is amazing!!! Her knowledge and expertise absolutely helped me to have a stronger core after 3 babies. She’s also a pleasure to work with and her studio is in a great location. I highly recommend Erin and her practice to anyone interested in Pilates and especially to moms to be and moms who are postnatal.
Jul 25, 2019 · Mary MieleEDB Method Pilates have reinvigorated my connection with my physical body and movement. I’ve seen a significant improvement in my core strength and an elimination of lower back issues. I’ve really enjoyed the 1 hour per week of virtual group pilates mat classes I’ve had the privilege of participating in since May 2020. I’ve been pretty amazed by how much core strength I’ve been able to develop through EDB method pilates mat classes over the last 4 months, despite being almost 4 years post C-section birth. Highly recommend EDB Method Pilates for both prenatal and post natal women.
Sep 02, 2020 · Eve HErin makes sure to tailor her instruction to your particular needs. She is patient and a pleasure to work with. Great for pre and post natal mammas!
