I started at Fort Pilates late October 2023 taking private lessons with Ariana to help me with some back and knee issues. I thought it would be easy and it was not, but it has truly helped my back, and knee issues. The movements and deep breathing were so soothing yet challenging. Pilates is a true full body workout after one on ones with Ariana I would go to my kickboxing class and my movements there was so much better and my kicks so much higher. After about eight or nine private sessions, I moved into group classes with Laurel on Tuesdays. I enjoy the check-ins just before class to ask about any issues you might have before the start of class. She gives a quick intro to the equipment and the props and within five minutes, you can actually feel the burn from the movements on the reformer. Laurel gives pretty good instruction, and she will even come over to you to straighten you out if you are not doing something correctly. The group classes I am taking are for beginners but she often offers a more challenging move for you to try. Fort Pilates is a great addition to my weekly exercise routine..

I’ve taken all my classes with Adam the last few years because he makes you feel comfortable, provides personalized feedback, and makes class fun with his great personality. So glad I found this spot.

For those who want the intimate training away from the big corporate gyms, Fort Pilates is the best there is to be a part of keeping the mind, body and spirit in shape. Thank you everyone. Don’t give up or quit because things are tough.
