Jan 25, 2025 · ashley justineI joined about a month ago and loving it so far. I haven’t taken any classes yet but the gym has everything I need. Machines are pretty modern. Facilities are very clean.
Feb 28, 2025 · Isolina De La CruzGreat classes, coaches, and the machines. Staff is as friendly as you can expect in NY 😎🙃 but… the gym is badly managed. I already canceled my membership but oh, man, it’s just getting worse and worse. Here are just some issues: 1 - a leaky ceiling in a few places. 2 - it’s so cold in the yoga studio you have to wear a sweater not to freeze to death. 3 - they sooo oversold in January, clases are dangerously overcrowded. I never get to use the sauna anymore and have wait for the machines no matter what time of the day it is. I really enjoyed working out at Grind but it’s time to go 💃
Feb 09, 2025 · Victoria ZavyalovaI wanted to love this gym but I guess not. I tried their free 3 days trial. The gym itself is packed with lots of equipment, plenty of space to work out and even a sauna ( the best part). During my trial (which I only attended 2/3 sessions), the staff gave an unwelcoming vibe and their maintenance team is great….but it would’ve been better to not clean right under me while I worked out lol(dangerous). I think the vibe in here did it for me the most (maybe I’m projecting who knows) but absolute fitness in Grand street gives a warm and welcoming vibe by their staff and even gym members. Will definitely be joining them instead :/
Apr 10, 2023 · AylinThe gym is well-equipped and offers plenty of space but recently it’s been getting more crowded, making it harder to access equipment during peak times. Also, the water filter has been out of service since August, and there’s often a shortage of fresh towels during rush hours. The AC and ventilation are almost always out of order, leaving the gym consistently hot (never below 70°F), humid, stuffy, and filled with a strong, unpleasant odor.
