The lifetime of sky is really nice especially in the pool where you can view the skyline from the pool. And every person was very friendly nice and nice staff. My only problem was I wish the spa area whirlpool and sauna Steemroom and cold plunge were in locker rooms.

Oct 26, 2024 · Blake ZuckerThis gym keeps us coming back daily. The Alpha class programming and instructors are exceptional. It has helped us gain 3 lbs of muscle in just six months, more than any other program we've tried. The workouts, space, and instructors are so incredible we happily walk 20 blocks to get here each day. The front desk team - Chris, Meghan, Brian, Vincent, Mitch, Nya, Joel, Ashley and Griffin are so warm, welcoming, and efficient. Their unfailing kindness always make our visits somehow even better. Swimming laps in the indoor pool is very enjoyable, especially after a hard Alpha workout and when the sunlight hits the water in the afternoon. The staff maintains the pool at a perfect temperature. The steam room and cold plunge are an added bonus. We just really like this gym. It makes us stronger each day! As an added bonus, membership here also gets us access to Lifetime gyms at Penn1, 23rd St, Midtown and NoHo, all of which have great classes we try out once in a while.
Mar 03, 2025 · Jyoti ShankarDisclaimer: NO (free or metered) PARKING ANYWHERE. One of the behemoth gyms that make LifeTime not only worth it but a good deal. Outdoor sky pool, very nice cafe layout, basketball, etc. biggest problem is- who is it for? Locals. Super local. Like west of 9th Avenue. With no nearby subway and zero parking (tried for 40 minutes) you’re forced to garage your car for obviously a small nyc fortune just to use the gym making it not accessible. Parking right in front is plentiful but despite no signs, everyone said you’d be towed. Long story short- anyone who isn’t ok with walking a long distance to get here, avoid. This is the Tantalus of LifeTimes.
Nov 16, 2024 · Alex DJoined Life Time NYC after years at Equinox, and it’s a huge upgrade. More equipment, cleaner, and a friendlier crowd—people actually work out here instead of just sitting on machines glued to their phones. Way better atmosphere than Equinox Hudson Yards, which feels like a zoo and has gone downhill. Highly recommend! I’ve never had to wait for a squat rack at Lifetime.
Feb 28, 2025 · Sofia KI'll be honest I go after 5pm and it's usually busy no guarantees you'll get to do your routine smoothly but it can still get done people are nice if you ask how long they'll be on equipment. Oh yeah the locker rooms are small and not enough showers which gets annoying quick. Still worth every penny though my opinion.
