My regular Pilates studio, have been coming for a few months and feel better inside and out since. The instructors incorporate a great balance of same moves that I continue to improve and new moves to target different muscles. Highly recommend :)

This reviewer expressed disappointment with the overall experience, suggesting that while the instructors had dance backgrounds, their Pilates training and understanding of anatomy and biomechanics appeared limited. This was reportedly evident in their instruction, exercise selection, and spring choices, which sometimes did not align with proper mechanics or progression principles.
Furthermore, the critical reviewer noted that two of the classes, taken just days apart, repeated more than half of the same routine. They also found the exercises to lack functional application, with minimal repetitions followed by frequent breaks that disrupted the flow of the class.

Jan 05, 2025 · Haley YipThis is a gem of a Pilates studio in Brooklyn. I have been to a few classes now and all the instructors are excellent. The owner, Deb runs a great studio - its so clean and the equipment is great, it has a lovely energy. I have enjoyed all the classes!
Sep 24, 2024 · Anne-Marie CanterI've been going to Minimalist Movement since it opened over a year ago. The instructors are all great and have different styles (some are more active, some more focused on mobility), depending on your mood and level of experience. The machines are SO nice and the studio has a real neighborhood/community feel. Pilates has had such an amazing impact on my body and health. Very much recommend this studio!
May 21, 2024 · Rachel SchwartzI took my first pilates class here and loved how supportive and welcoming the staff was! The studio is the perfect size for personalized instruction!
