I signed up for a few private sessions at Moving Strength and could not be happier that I did. Taja was an AMAZING instructor helping me confront my weak areas and build my confidence. She could see where I needed improvements and customized our sessions to fit my needs and abilities. After 8 private sessions I feel like a completely different person! The studio on 2nd ave was a nice clean and cozy space and I look forward to joining the group classes very soon!

While visiting family on a recent trip back to NY, I had the pleasure of taking classes at Moving Strength on the UWS. What a fantastic studio. The teachers are professional and friendly. The studio is light and bright. I took five classes over the course of a week and enjoyed every one. I can't recommend Moving Strength enough!

I knew from the first session that I’d be continuing on at moving strength, but now after 3 sessions, I can confidently say that it would be silly to not make this a part of my exercise routine. It has already helped my back and neck pain so much. I struggle with TMJ which affects those both a ton and Pilates reformer has really helped improve my daily pain - and my breathing. I feel more calm, at peace and slower in my everyday movement - in a good way - more intentional and relaxed. The teachers are all wonderful and very patient with beginners. I have felt very welcomed here as a new student and am excited to make this a part of my health goals and lifestyle.
