I’ve been working with Lisa for six years, and she has been instrumental in changing my body for the better. She’s an expert on both the techniques used in Pilates as well as pedagogy. She uses her expertise to find the right exercises suitable for your needs. I came to her very uncoordinated and with a congenital hip issue, and she has been able to help strengthen my core and develop my self awareness so that I can do things, like running, that I didn’t think I would be able to again. If you are looking to learn classic Pilates and get the right form, this is it. This is especially great for people who have pains and have any kind of joint problems but anyone who’s interested to learn the art of Pilates can take the class. The lady Lisa who runs it is 62 and she’s so fit. She usually does a class of 6 because she really wants you to get it right. Amazing amazing class!! Available through classpass as well. I feel very different and great after my first class. Have never felt this way before. I recommend!!!

i have been a client of Lisa's for over 12 years. Before pregnancy, during pregnancy, after pregnancy and now my child does pilates with me (she is 11). In every situation her teaching was thorough, thoughtful, challenging yet appropriate to one's strength level and classes are always fun. I started taking classes at the pilatium 3 and half months into physical therapy for my back. Lisa helped me transition from physical therapy and wrote down exercises for me to do on my own. It has completely changed the way I exercise and care for my back (I have chronic back pain and arthritis). I highly recommend taking a class with Lisa even if you are a beginner or have been doing pilates for years.
