short: STINKS! STINKS! STINKS! money-saving tip: If your nose can handle it, every month, one of the two plans waives the $59 startup fee as promotion. For classic that is four months free, and for black that is two months free. long: I did the rookie mistake of checking out the gym on a Sunday morning. The place was at about 25% capacity with a slight odor that was tolerable. I asked if they had any promotions, and I was informed that at the time they had promotion for the black and if I go back in a few days they might have a promotion for classic. Well October 1st, a Tuesday, came around and I joined on my phone. After work, I arrived slightly before 4:30pm, to get my picture taken and start working out. While I was signing documents and getting my picture a strong odor kept bothering me. I was thinking to myself it must just be by the front desk, so after I finished the registration process I decided to walk around the entire first floor, the same strong odor with the same intensity was everywhere. Then I walked to the second floor and same thing. The entire gym has the strong odor everywhere consistently. I thought I might have been overreacting so I go to a machine and adjust the weights and when I was about to sit down I thought to myself I can't do this. I walked back to the front desk and stated that I want to cancel. The person asked me why. I informed him because there is a very strong odor everywhere. He pointed to an air freshener and stated they gave several throughout the gym. I asked him if anyone before has canceled because it stinks? He replied no. I asked him if anyone else has complained about the order. He said yes, and added that they can't go up to people to tell them they smell. I explained to him that it's not one particular person making the entire two floors of the gym stink, there must be a problem with the ventilation. I asked him if they are broken or will be repaired. He replied no. I was contacted by someone at supremefitgrp that stated they will inform the management to keep the place clean.I highly do not recommend this location.

Im in love with the 5min massage chairs! Perfect for the end of a lunch workout. New layout has new machines downstairs... i feel. But now more spacious!

I visited this gym today and when I tell you I was soooo disgusted by the condition it was in. It’s really like a “get what you pay for” gym. Thankfully I went with a buddy pass cause I would NEVER sign up for this place. Let me first tell you, believe the bad reviews. I understand some people can settle for certain things but a gym should never feel, look or smell the way it did especially with all the risk of health hazards and us just getting over covid. First off. The smell in this place is horrible. It’s like no air circulation, vents ain’t venting - like at all. You can feel and smell the musk. It’s not people it’s the entire facility. It’s a bad sewage smell and the crazy thing is, as you walk around ALL you see IS those automatic air fresheners you buy at CVS on the walls. Trying to hide the smell of the place. It just smells even worst when it’s mixing a fresh scent with sewage. The stairs are dirty, they need to be mopped, you see dirt, hair, lent, shoe markings all on the stairs. Hire like a cleaning team (a professional one). Bathrooms, dissssgusting. I had to hold my breath to get my stuff out. People dirty sock left behind. No bathroom attendants keeping the bathroom cleaned. Shower curtains need to be replaced ( I really don’t know who in their right mind would shower there) like grosssss. The work out mats must be replaced, there is a lot of wear and tear. You can see build up dirty on machines on the bottom. Just felt really nasty in there. Open some windows please. Contact venting system see what’s going on. Power wash this place from top to bottom. I understand why people pay a lot of $$$$ for gym memberships elsewhere. In New York, you get what you pay for people. Thankfully I was given a buddy pass but I won’t be returning again.

When thieves brake into someone’s locker, do they ever get caught? There is no security in this place. Anyone can come in and steal not only your wallet, house keys, money, but also your coats and hat and leave you at the mercy of winter. Those potheads have their reward. That’s how they honor their parents? I feel sorry for the mother that conceived them and brought them up.They think Jehovah did not see them. Nobody can fool him. Right now they must be laughing and having a good time. How wrong they are. If they don’t change, Jehovah will take care of those individuals.And when he gets them they will know who he is. They are happy making their victims miserable. I wish the gym owners could do something to stop them. They will do worse things than these, if no one stops them. I feel sorry for the mother that brought up those individuals and the father who engendered them. What a waste! They must be callous because they don’t feel pity or feel pangs of conscience for the people they rob. PLANET FITNESS , will you care about what happened? You could prevent this from happening. Are those individuals who do this are among your own customers or are individuals who sneak in? I don’t want to especulate that it’s an inside job either. Please do something or they will do worse things. If you don’t take action to prevent their evil plans from happening’ this will affect your business.Not only that. just imagine they steal from the wrong person and get caught. People react differently in every situation. They will get killed on the spot and the police is going to pull out dead bodies from your gyms ,all because you didn’t do much to prevent it. These individuals belong behind bars. I don’t want to especulate what’s coming to them,but they will deserve it. I believe, It is possible that they work in teams of 2 or 3 . 1 or 2 will be their look out. Another will play loud music from his radio so as to distract others and insulate the noise of their braking the lockers while no one is watching. Your warning signs at the locker rooms do little to prevent this because customers want an atmosphere of trust ,respect and safety. If you could play videos about gym locker thieves in this city and in different states that you could find in YouTube on your flat tv screens , the customers will be more than alert to take preventive measures instead of just listening to music videos all the time. This will work better so they will not be fooled by these undesirable individuals. (Psalms 37: 1-17)

Now that it is under new management the place is very clean! Equipments has been moved around making more space and easy to workout ! Please keep up the great job you are doing. I am happy to be back to one of my favorite Planet Fitness Location!! Thanks!!
