I've been practicing Ashtanga with Michael for 7 years and coming to the studio is my happy thought to start the day. The practice has healed and strengthened my body, nurtured my mind and soul. You can tell he has a passion and respect for the practice and it's reflected in the way he teaches the class. So glad to finally find my ashtanga home in nyc.

At the end of 2022 I moved to NY for a month, getting back to my mysore practice was part of my month plan and selecting my yoga studio from London was a difficult task. I can only be thankful to have found Sadhana in the City and Michael, the shala location is great (I was living in Chelsea and my morning bike rides gave me some of the most incredible sunsets), the interiors are neutral and nice, the community welcoming and Michael... Michael should be kept as a secret but that would be mean so it's just fair I openly share Michael is gentle and tough (in the best possible way), treated me as part of his community since day one, made me laugh, coped with all my "doubts" and my "can't´s" and made me cross boundaries I never thought I would have, I guess this means 99% of my achievements during that month are not really mine but Michael´s, c'est la vie :) I´ve had a talk with Santa and asked him to bring Michael to London but I don't think he would want that... So I guess is me who has to come back, sooner or later, I will come back. :) Michael, thanks for a month I will always remember. Miriam Prada

The room is open and warm and welcoming and it’s amazing to practice with a group of dedicated practitioners.
