Based on customer reviews, Yoga Spa NYC Midtown is highly regarded as an exceptional "hidden gem." The studio is praised for its welcoming atmosphere, kind community, and amazing practices. Customers feel assured of having an incredible experience, regardless of their specific needs.
Environment: The spa features a beautiful balcony area where tea and other drinks are served for free, contributing to a relaxing and welcoming environment.
Services: Yoga Spa NYC Midtown offers a variety of yoga classes. One reviewer particularly loves the restorative yoga class on Wednesdays with Megan, describing it as a system reset that brings inner peace and happiness. However, another reviewer noted that the Hatha yoga practice offered might be more gentle and slow-paced, making it suitable for new yogis or seniors, but potentially not the preferred "vibe" for those seeking a more dynamic practice.
In addition to yoga, the spa is highly acclaimed for its spa treatments. One customer described their massage experience as the best they've had in 10 years in NYC, highlighting the well-trained and attentive masseuses who address individual body issues effectively. The spa also offers a scrub treatment, likened to a Hamam experience, using all-natural ingredients like honey and sugar, leaving the skin very smooth.
Features: Key features include highly skilled and kind instructors and therapists, a welcoming community, a clean and pleasant environment, a beautiful balcony area with complimentary tea and drinks, and effective yoga and spa treatments.
Promotional Information: One reviewer mentioned finding the spa through a Groupon package that included yoga, a scrub, and a massage. They were so impressed with their experience that they intend to return for full-price services, indicating the value they found even with a promotional offer. This suggests that potential customers may want to check for available promotions like Groupons to experience the studio's offerings.
Overall, Yoga Spa NYC Midtown appears to be a top-notch destination for both yoga classes and spa treatments in Midtown East, known for its excellent service, skilled practitioners, and welcoming atmosphere. While the yoga style may lean towards a gentler practice, the spa treatments, particularly the massage and scrub, receive outstanding reviews. Checking for promotional offers like Groupon could be a great way to experience this exceptional studio.

Get directionsAbsolutely the best: the place, the instructors, the community, everyone is so kind and the practices are amazing. You can focus on your need and be assured you’ll have an incredible experience. I loved all the classes I have taken so far, but my very favorite is restorative yoga on Wednesdays with Megan, that class restarts my system and send me back home full of inner peace and happiness.
Feb 04, 2025 · Juliana TellezHave come here twice and it’s honestly the best massage experience I’ve had in 10 years in NYC. Found through a Groupon, but I will be coming back for full price. Groupon package includes yoga, scrub and massage. Yoga is a hatha practice and I’m picky about yoga so it’s not exactly my vibe (more gentle, slow, good for new yogis or seniors). The scrub is sort of like a hamam experience with honey and sugar (all natural), leaves my skin sooooo smooth. The massage is AMAZING, have tried 2 masseuses, both incredible, just like really well trained and attentive to my body issues. They also serve tea and other drinks for free and have a beautiful balcony area. Exceptional hidden gem! Travel 60 min from Brooklyn to this place and it’s WORTH IT.
Feb 15, 2025 · Olivia Snyder-SpakI love Yoga Spa! I take class every time I’m in the city😊 visiting my son. I’ve enjoyed so much the Wednesday and Friday donation-based 10:30 am classes with Sierra and Zach. If I lived in NYC, I’d probably be there every morning!! Clean and tranquil space with mat rental. Thank you for letting me pop in and take class whenever I’m in town. ❤️
Jan 24, 2025 · pamachtWow. Yoga spa has been an incredible studio to be a member of with its peaceful space and amazing teachers. I was first drawn because of their restoration class with Eiji since I was hoping for a calming practice. I’ve been so impressed by every teacher. I’m so glad I invested in the membership.
Dec 13, 2024 · Emma TurnerAmazing studio and spa it’s well decorated with flowers and the environment is quite and peaceful. The staff and the owner are very kind and friendly. I only got one massage in my life before I came to this spa. I tried one here and ever since then i’ve been a regular to help my body and mind recover after a stressful work week. There are always some kind of promotions going on with massages and yoga classes so you will get great value Pepi is a great masseuse would highly recommend her. The yoga classes itself are great I haven’t done a lot personally because of an injury I had, but if you’re new to yoga this is a good place to start. The instructors are very knowledgeable and accommodating to whatever your level is. Their yoga packages are also well priced. If you are already into the yoga lifestyle and have your own yoga mat you won’t have to rent a yoga mat and will save some money. A mat rental might deter some people, but at the end of the day they’re a business and have to pay a lease in order to keep delivering their services.
